2024 USSSA Ball Games 2 (Netball) – Round of 16
Monday, 15th July:
- St Mary’s Kitende Vs Kaddugala SS
- GreenLight SS Vs Kibuli SS
- Kawanda SS Vs Namagabi SS
- St Mathias Kalemba SS Vs St Francis Busunju
- Fort Portal SS Vs St Josephine Bakhita
- Gombe SS Vs Buddo SS
- Hamdan Islamic SS Vs Baptist High School
- Nile Citizen Vs St Noa Girls Zzana
The round of 16 matches for Netball as well as the classification duels at the on-going 2024 USSSA Ball Games 2 will be played on Monday, 15th July.
This comes after the successful completion of the grueling group stage matches where 360 matches were played in five match days.
It is a tense moment as the round of 16 throw off in style at the Teso College Aloet netball courts.
Holders St Mary’s Kitende face Kaddugala SS in one of the contests. The winner from this battle will face either GreenLight SS or Kibuli SS in the quarter-finals.
Kawanda SS will tussle against Namagabi SS with the victor taking on St Mathias Kalemba SS or St Francis Busunju at the last eight stage.
The other round of 16 duel shall witness Fort Portal SS up against St Josephine Bakhita with the winner facing Gombe SS or Buddo Secondary School.
The other two round of 16 matches will have Hamdan Islamic SS playing against Baptist High School awaiting the successful school from the Nile Citizen or St Noa Girls Zzana tie.
Meanwhile, the classification matches to determine positions 33 to 80 will also be played on Monday morning.
Besides Netball, the USSSA Ball Games 2 also have Athletics, Rugby 7’s, Volleyball, Handball and 3X3 Basketball.
All these games are qualifiers to the upcoming 2024 FEASSSA Games that will be co-hosted by Bukedea Comprehensive and Amus College School.
