
KCCA have completed the signing of centre back Mahmood Hassan re-uniting him with his former coach Abdallah Mubiru.
The highly intelligent defender played under Mubiru at Police FC and also at Mbeya City in the Tanzania Premier League.
Mood is famously known in the football circles signed a three year contract with the Kasasiro and is set to beef up the centre back position that has among others Peter Magambo, Filbert Obenchan, Rogers Atube and Mustafa Mujjuzi.
“I am delighted to join KCCA FC. It is every player’s desire to play for a club like KCCA FC,” he told the club website. “I have a good relationship with the manager and he has shared with me his plans,” he added.
“I am certain that we can achieve so much as a unit. The club has fantastic players and this kind of competition keeps every player on the toes and it is healthy for all of us.”
He joins a host of new faces at the 13-time champions that include Sharif Ssengendo, Steven Munguchi, Isa Mubiru, Bright Anukani and Emmanuel Anyama.
KCCA is seeking to end a four year trophy less campaign next season and the team begins preps for 2024/25 on Monday.
