All roads lead to St. Mary’s stadium, Kitende where hosts Vipers will be celebrating their inaugural annual day.
Part of the celebrations that start as early as noon on Saturday July 27, 2024 is the test match in which the Vipers team take on Kenya Caf Confederation Cup Representatives Police FC.
The game, which kicks off at 7pm under the floodlights will be the first official match for Serbian coach at the helm of the Kitende based side.
“I am happy with how the players have responded to the new system of play, training methods that I and my staff have worked on in the past five weeks,” said Kavazovic.
“We have played a couple of matches against lower division side and without looking down on them, none seemed to match our game in all aspects,” he added before speaking what he expects of Police FC.
“By being in the Caf Confederation Cup, they come into the game a level above us,” he started. “But it will be a good game to gauge where we are as a team but the results for me won’t be important but how we conduct ourself.
“For me, all eyes will be on the game against NEC in the Super 8 which happens next Friday.”
The former Township Rollers coach will unleash a new look attack led by Kenneth Kimera, a new signing from Wakiso Giants as lead strikers Eric Kambale and Yunus Sentamu are not part of the team yet.
