Attacking midfielder Titus Ssematimba has officially joined Uganda Premier League outfit, Kitara FC.
The signing of the crafty midfielder was confirmed by the club on Tuesday, putting pen to paper on a one-year deal.
“Titus Ssematimba is officially a Kitara football player after agreeing and appending his signature on a year long contract.” Kitara FC confirmed.
Ssematimba joins the Royals from Wakiso Giants football club where he spent two seasons having joined them from St Lawrence University.
From Janaury this year, he had a short loan spell at Al Dahra FC in United Arab Emirates.
Ssematimba said after his unveiling, ” I’m excited and already feel welcome here. I’m keen to write a new chapter with Kitara and I hope it will be a good experience.
I want to give his very best, better myself as a player and help my new team win games and more silverware.”
He becomes the fourth signing for the Royals joining Ronald Otti, Fred Amaku and David Ndihabwe.
Kitara will compete in the CAF Confederations Cup which starts next month.
