Brian Masaba the Cricket Cranes Captain dropped the bombshell at the team welcome lunch organised by Uganda Cricket Association that he was calling time on his T20 Career.
Brian Masaba was the Captain of the Cricket Cranes at the T20 World Cup in West Indies and featured in all four games that Uganda played. Brian Masaba made history by being the 1st Ugandan player to take a wicket at the World Cup against Afghanistan.
Brian Masaba has been the team Captain for the last five years during his second stint and he will go down in history as the captain who led Uganda to their 1st ever World Cup.
There will be no better moment for Brian Masaba to move on as he leaves the team in a good place still basking in the glory of being part of the T20 World Cup in the West Indies.
The replacements for the role include current vice-captain Riazat Ali Shah and Kenneth Waiswa who deputised Brian Masaba during the T20 Qualifiers in Zimbabwe in 2022.
