URA SC’s confirmation of new staff officially affirms the departures of Robert Mukasa and Swaib Ssebagala.

Mukasa has been a long serving staff at the club until David Obua was appointed and he guided the club in the last six league games of the season as interim head coach.

During that tenure, URA won two matches, lost once and drew three times.

When the club appointed Alex Isabirye as head coach, Mukasa hoped to stay as part of the staff but it is not the case.

Isabirye has appointed Baker Kasule and Crespo Asiku as first and second assistant coaches respectively.

The two have worked with Isabirye before at BUL and with Kasule at Vipers as well.

The other new appointment is Jamir Ddamba who takes over the goalkeeping coach role from Ssebagala.

Ssebagala has been in the role for the last two seasons after leaving Wakiso Giants.

URA finished last season in 8th position on 40 points with 10 wins, as many draws and nine losses.
