KCCA Leopards triumphed over Angels with a resounding score of 74-35 in a National Basketball League matchup held at YMCA Court on Wednesday.
Perus Nyamwenge scored a layup, which capped off the first quarter and gave the Leopards a strong 12-point lead, ending the period at 16-4.
KCCA Leopards continued to build on their advantage, extending their lead to 28 points by the end of the second quarter, thanks to Lillian Cherotic’s layup as the teams headed into the halftime break.
Although the Angels put up a strong fight in the third quarter, they still trailed by 24 points. The Leopards ultimately secured a decisive 39-point victory.
Tracy Namugosa led the scoring for the Leopards with 22 points, followed by Sherinah Mwenyango with 16 points and Perus Nyamwenge with 10 points while Joan Namatovu was the top scorer with 15 points for Angels.
