St Cyprian High School Kyabakadde Boys’ Results

Group stage:

St Cyprian High School Kyabakadde boys’ basketball team remains undefeated at the on-going Uganda Secondary School Sports Association (USSSA) Ball games one in Bukedea district.

With six games all played at the lavish Amus College School basketball courts, St Cyprian High School Kyabakadde has recorded six victories thus far with 221 points scored, 118 conceded.

They opened the campaign with a 33-14 win against Holy Cross S.S. This was bettered with a 44-22 triumph over St Maria Gorreti Katende on Thursday, May 8, 2025.

On Friday, May 9, 2025, they won 29-18 against Janan School Bombo.

The other two victories came on Saturday over Masaka and Kings College Budo; 44-22 and 26-12 respectively.

At the round of 16 stage, St Cyprian High School Kyabakadde defeated Elite High School Entebbe 47-30 on Monday morning.

“It has been so far, so good. We look forward to the remaining games of the championship with caution, including the quarter final,” Malcom Omondi, the team captain, remarked.

St Cyprian High School Kyabakadde boys’ team is expected to face Buddo at the quarterfinal stage.

Whereas the boys’ team is blowing over either side of the cylinder, the girls’ side, who are making their debut appearance at the championship, are playing serious catch-up business.

The girls’ team has lost to St Noa Girls Zana, Nyakasura School and lately Kisubi Mapeera.

“The learning curve is promising and we shall rhyme with the others in the quickest time possible,” Vivian Nankyanzi, the team captain, admits.

Rains disturbed the flow of classification and quarterfinal matches and it will need dry weather before resumption on Monday.

Meanwhile, there will be further action in the rest of the games as Badminton at Mbale Secondary School, Tennis at Mbale Sports Club, Rugby 15’s at Busamaga grounds in Mbale, football girls, hockey, volleyball (U-16), netball (U-16) and handball (U-16).
