Buddo Secondary School gallantly progressed to the quarter finals of the 2025 USSSA boys’ football championship with a resounding 3-1 victory over Ngora district’s Wisdom High on Sunday, May 11.

Owen Mukisa swiftly recovered from a bad knock suffered during the round of 32 to score a brace for Richard Malinga’s coached side.

Abdul Shakil Babi added the other goal for Buddo SS as Eddy Goadian Odur scored the consolation for Wisdom High.

Buddo joins two other Wakiso zone schools St Mary’s Kitende and Kyadondo SS to the last eight stage due on Monday, 11^th May 2025.

Kyadondo SS defeated Kichwamba SS from Rubiriizi district 1-0 courtesy of Moses Kalule’s strike.

St Mary’s Kitende dismantled Blessed Sacrament Kimanya 3-0 in a one-sided duel.

Jinja Progressive Academy (JIPRA) convincingly beat the reigning champions St Julian High School 3-1 with Asuman Kayondo and Simon Achiidi (brace) the scorers.

James Ssekate scored the consolation for St Julian High School.

Meanwhile, Kibuli SS out-shot Masaka SS 5-3 in post-match penalties after normal time had ended goalless.

Mentor SS edged Jinja Comprehensive Academt 1-0.

Bukedea Comprehensive School out-witted Kawempe Muslim 1-0 courtesy of John Kyobe’s goal.

On Monday, 11^th May 2025 are the quarter final matches.
