The final bend for the 2024-2025 FUFA Big League season is fast approaching with an interesting tale to report home after match day 22 games.
The top three clubs (Blacks Power, Buhimba United Saints and Gaddafi) coming to the last seven games of the season all failed to register any goal, nor the maximum points.
In Entebbe, at the Works playground; Gaddafi played to a goal-less draw with visiting Buhimba United Saints.

The tactical awareness plan for these two clubs in the box produced solid defences with sharp man-marking tactics and excellent goalkeeping from the goalkeepers.
Gaddafi forwards Davis Kasirye, Jonathan Mbula and offensive midfielder Samuel Kawawa Junior were kept at bay by the Buhimba United defence that had right back Charles Kyomuhendo (captain), left back Arafat Galiwango, Reagan Kunya, Jonathan Lucio Muteesa and goalkeeper Moses Ayebale.
On the opposite front, the visitors’ frontline that was spurred by the January signing John Wesley Kisakye, Philip Martin Opolot and Edson Agondeze had a torrid time facing the likes of Brian Enzama, Simon Namwanja, Male, goalkeeper Muhammed Ssekebba and the veteran Savio Kabugo.

With no breakthrough in normal time and the additional minutes, the duel remained barren with a point earned per side.
This is the third consecutive goal-less draw for Buhimba United Saints as they make it to 38 points from 21 matches, in the second place, a point shy from the leaders Blacks Power who have a game less.
Gaddafi is now with 36 points from 21 outings and they are third on the 15 team log.
Meanwhile, Blacks Power and Kiyinda Boys shared the spoils in another goal-less draw on Sunday evening at the UTC playground in Lira city.
Kiyinda Boys is now 6th on the standings with 30 points.
