Lugazi FC and UPDF FC settled for a point apiece in a pulsating encounter played on Friday in Najjembe.
The sea-saw game saw either side take the lead at different intervals before eventually ending in a two-all draw.
UPDF FC took the lead in the 14th minute through veteran striker Samuel Kayongo Ssekamatte.
At the start of the second half, Lugazi coach Steven Bogere made changes, calling off Derrick Mwanje and Gift Lubega Muhammed for , Rogers Adriko and Sam Ssemugugu respectively.
Ssemugugu was able to restore parity five minutes after coming on, converting from the spot.
Two minutes later, Ssemugugu turned provider settting up Emmanuel Obua for Lugazi’s second goal, sending the fans into wild celebrations.
The visitors were able to rally back and salvage a point with Joseph Jjanjali getting the equalizer in the 69th minute.
The result leaves UPDF FC in tenth place on 29 points, one place and two points ahead of Lugazi FC.
