  • Kitara vs KCCA – Butema 4pm
  • Maroons vs Express FC – Luzira 4pm
  • Wakiso Giants vs Mbale Heroes – Mbale 4pm

Prior to the reverse fixture which KCCA won 2-0 at the MTN Omondi stadium, Lugogo, Abdallah Mubiru stoked fire when he called Kitara a ‘small club.’

The assertion didn’t go well with the hierarchy, fans and players at Kitara and since then, a mini rivalry seems brewing.

As the two sides renew acquaintances at Butema on Saturday, nothing has been forgotten.

Wasswa Bbosa’s men will come to avenge the defeat while KCCA want to complete a double.

Both sides are in fine form with KCCA winning four of their last five matches in all competitions while Kitara have lost just once in the same number winning three.

“They are a good side, one of the biggest in the Ugandan football and are in good form,” said Bbosa. “But we are also doing well at the moment and with the fans behind us, we believe we can get the victory because our aim is to move into the top four,” he added.

Patrick Kaddu, one of the most lethal strikers at KCCA in recent past will turn guns against former bosses and so will Umar Lutalo who quit the Royals for the Kasasiro in the January transfer window.

KCCA are on 34 points while Kitara are two points behind.
