- Kaaro Karungi vs UPDF – Kyamatte 3pm
- URA vs Kataka – Nakivubo 3pm
- Vipers SC vs Blacks Power – Kitende 7pm
Vipers SC will be without three national team players in Allan Okello, Rogers Torach and Karim Watambala when they lock horns with Fufa Big League side in the round of 16 of the Stanbic Uganda Cup.
The trio is with the national team, the Uganda Cranes in Egypt for the 2026 Fifa World Cup qualifier against Mozambique.
However, Vipers, chasing another league and cup double after achieving the feat two seasons ago has enough firepower in the armory to overcome the side that eliminated their closest rivals in the league NEC.
The coaching duo of John Ayala and Fred Muhumuzza will recall Livingstone Mulondo at the heart of defence in the place of Torach while Kenneth Kimera, Angolan Pedro Sukuya and youngster Bugembe can all take over from Okello and Watambala.
Besides, the experienced Yunus Sentamu and Moses Waiswa are also available to lead the hunt for goals and also take over creative duties.
This will be the second Uganda Cup home game for the three-time cup winners after they eliminated Mbarara City at the same venue in the previous round after surviving Tepa in the round of 64 in Soroti.
Blacks Power, second in the Big League will be without star man Innocent Maduka but their coach Bob Obira is confident they can shock Vipers in their own backyard.
Elsewhere, UPDF and URA will be the other sides in action away to Kaaro Karungi and at home to Kataka respectively aiming to join fellow top tier sides SC Villa, Police, KCCA, BUL and holders Kitara who are into the quarter finals.
