  • Lugazi vs SC Villa – Lugazi 3pm
  • KCCA vs Rwenzori Lions – Lugogo 7pm
  • BUL vs Total FC – Njeru 3pm

For the first time in over two seasons, KCCA host a Uganda Cup match when they host regional side Rwenzori Lions under the floodlights at the MTN Omondi stadium, Lugogo.

KCCA overcame lower regional sides to reach the stage while on their road to this stage, Rwenzori Lions eliminated Fufa Big league leaders Buhimba Saints.

Abdallah Mubiru has warned against complacency and highlights the importance of the Uganda Cup to KCCA’s season after they fell off in the race to win the championship.

“Not to undermine our opponents but we have bigger ambitions than they do in this competition,” said Mubiru. “They should content with this reaching this stage but for us, only winning this tournament will satisfy us,” he added.

Gavin Kizito and Brian Ijara are out on national team duties while Mustafa Mujuzi and Steven Munguchi are still nursing injuries.

Skipper Julius Poloto, winger Ettiene Katenga and dependable centre back Hassan Muhamood are back for the hosts.

On the same day, SC Villa visit Lugazi at Najjembe while BUL are at home to Total FC.
