Over the weekend, the FUBA Primary Schools League commenced at Twinbrooks Elementary School in Kitezi. The league featured the participation of seven primary schools and 21 teams in two categories; U11 and U13.
The league was created with the aim of promoting and developing basketball from the grassroots level, providing a platform for children who are the future of the game in our country playing skillful, organised and quality basketball in Uganda.
The key elements of the league are to ensure that the children have fun, create social cohesion, and play with their peers in the same age group while learning the fundamentals of basketball and implementing what they learn during training sessions.
