Maroons have unveiled Ivan Asaba on a two-year contract.
The once highly rated youngster who made his name as a young lad at KCCA and later Vipers Junior teams joins a free agent in a move many will hope it revitalizes his career.
Asaba played for the Uganda national U-17 and U-20 national teams winning the Cecafa in 2020 and was part of the Hippos team that reached the finals of the Africa Cup of Nations in Mauritania in 2021.
Asaba is an excellent ball user with the ability to play as a number 10 or as a winger.
He becomes the second signing of the transfer window for Maroons after defender Apollo Kagogwe who joined from Wakiso Giants.
