Shot stopper Fabien Mutombora has completed his move to Tanzania Premier League outfit Kinondoni Municipal Council (KMC) Football Club.
Mutombora whose contract at Vipers SC ended last month was annouced as a new player for the Kino Boys.
“We are happy to inform you Kinondoni and soccer lovers all over the country that we have successfully completed the transfer of Burundi International goalkeeper Fabien Mutombora from Vipers SC.” The club confirmed.
Mutombora arrived at Vipers SC in 2018 after being snatched from Express FC where he had come for trails after leaving Lydia Ludic Académic FC of Burundi.
After impressing for Express FC in a friendly match against Azam FC, Vipers SC offered a better deal and he signed a three-year deal. He would later renew his contract to stay at St. Mary’s Stadium.
Mutombora was a key figure for the Venoms, winning four Uganda Premier League titles and 2 Uganda Cup crowns in his spell at the club.
Before his move to KMC FC, there were reports of him joining KCCA FC but the deal did not materialize.
