Uganda Cranes will learn their opponents for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations Qualifiers this Thursday, 4th July 2025. The draw function will be conducted in Johannesburg, South Africa.
There are 48 National teams that will be involved in the draw event and these will be divided into twelve groups of four each.
44 teams entered directly while the additional four Nations were winners of the preliminary round games.
The 48 national teams will be seeded into four pots of twelve each based on the most recent FIFA World Rankings.
This means that teams in the same pot cannot face off in the Group stages of the qualification campaign.
Uganda Cranes is in Pot 2 with Cape Verde, Burkina Faso, Guinea, Gabon, Equatorial Guinea, Zambia, Benin, Angola, Namibia and Mozambique and Madagascar.
