
URA FC had a field day on Friday against relegated Wakiso Giants in the penultimate round of the 2024/25 season.
The Tax Collectors secured a 4-1 win at Nakivubo Stadium, in what was their last home game of the season.
Joseph Ssemujju bagged a brace while Ivan Ahimbisibwe and Bruno Bunyaga added a goal each for URA FC. Hudson Mbalire got the consolation for the Purple Sharks.
URA had goalkeeper Abdu Magada stretchered off and was replaced by Derrick Ochan.
Ssemujju opened the scores three minutes later before he later turned provider for Ivan Ahimbisibwe.
In a space of nine minutes, the hosts had gotten their third goal of the day and Ssemujju’s second.
Wakiso Giants pulled one back two minutes before the break with Mbalire scoring.
Substitute Bunyaga put the icing on the cake, scoring with two minutes from time.
URA FC sits fourth on table with 52 points while Wakiso Giants are third from bottom on 20 points.
