
Ugandan schools participating in the CAF Schools Football Championship have learned their group stage opponents.
The highly anticipated tournament is set to kick off on Wednesday, April 23, 2025, following the official draw held earlier today, Monday.
The draw ceremony took place at the University of Ghana in Accra and was led by Ghanaian legend Asamoah Gyan and Ivory Coast’s renowned coach Clementine Touré.
In the boys’ category, St. Mary’s Kitende has been placed in Group A alongside hosts Ghana, South Africa, and Algeria.
Group B features defending champions Tanzania, along with Senegal, DR Congo, and Ivory Coast.
In the girls’ category, St. Noa has been drawn into Group B, where they will face South Africa, DR Congo, and Gambia.
Group A in the girls’ competition includes hosts Ghana, Morocco, Benin, and Malawi—forming what is expected to be a tightly contested group.
