FUFA Big League entity Kigezi Home Boyz Football Club has announced the sacking of their head coach, a Scottish national, Stephen Pritchard.

This followed a string of unconvincing results during the second round of the 2024-2025 season.

The latest slip was the 2-1 loss on the road away to Mbale’s Kataka at the Mbale City Stadium last Saturday.

Pritchard took over the job in January 2025, replacing Denis Tushabe who was elevated to the technical director status.

The Kabale district-based club has now confirmed the appointment of former player Aggrey Madoi has the interim head coach.

Madoi, also a former servant at Busoga United, Vipers and Wakiso Giants, has been assistant to Pritchard.

Kigezi Home Boyz Football announced that the decision has been taken to part ways with head coach Stephen Pritchard, effective immediately. We would like to thank coach Pritchard for his time and service to the club. We appreciate his efforts and commitment during his tenure and wish him all the best in his future coaching journey. Assistant coach Madoi Aggrey will take over as Acting head coach on an interim basis. He will be assisted by members of the current team as the club navigates the remainder of the season.
