Abbey Kikomeko is aware of what to expect from KCCA when his BUL side visit the MTN Omondi stadium, Lugogo on Saturday.
KCCA come into the game on the back of a 4-0 defeat that saw the club part ways with Abdallah Mubiru leaving Jackson Magera in charge.
“They will play like wounded lions especially after that defeat to Kitara but we know we can handle,” said Kikomeko.
On his part, Magera who has a perfect record as KCCA coach after he beat Vipers when he took charge of the game in the post Sergio Traguil era sounded confident.
“The players know we need to pick ourselves up from this and do the job,” said Magera.
The hosts could have Derrick Nsibambi back in the team after missing the previous games due to injury as well as Joel Sserujongi who returns from suspension but Ettiene Katenga, Umar Lutalo, Mustafa Mujjuzi and Sadat Anaku are likely to be out.
BUL are unbeaten against KCCA in the last four meetings in all meetings with the Kasasiro’s last win coming at Lugogo in 2023.
The Jinja based team are the only team yet to lose a game in the second round with only a draw at Mbarara City the exception in seven matches and sit 3rd on the table with 39 points while KCCA are 6th with 34 points.
