Finals:
- Boys: Divine Mercy SS 2-1 Nyamirima Village
- Girls: Moons Ville 2-0 Divine Mercy SS
The Kabarole district football championship in the Uganda Secondary Schools Sports Association (USSSA) games successfully climaxed with Divine Mercy SS as the victors.
Divine Mercy Secondary School recovered from a goal to overcome Nyamirima Village SS 2-1 in a tense finale at Kicwamba playground.
Nyamirima Village SS took the lead before a gallant performance from Divine Mercy to level through Chris Ninsima before Joseph Lucky scored the match winner.
Lucky emerged as the tournament top scorer with five goals to his name.
Now Divine Mercy SS looks forward the zonal qualifiers in April 2025 where Kyabenda Secondary School shall be the hosts.
For starters, Divine Mercy Secondary School is located in Kiko Town Council along Kamwenge road.
The school has both O’level and A’Level section, mixed boys and Girls’ day and Boarding sections.
The school is exceptional in delivering the best education services.
During the second sitting of the school’s A-level results, Divine Mercy SS had an overwhelming performance with the best student Nicholas Mugenyi Mwesigwa scoring 20 points in PAM/ICT with 1AAA1.
