
The final rounds of the men’s and women’s 2024 World Rugby HSBC Sevens Challenger will be played from May 18-19 in Munich, Germany and Krakow, Poland respectively.

Uganda is participating in both tournaments and has already arrived in camp ahead of kickoff on Saturday.
When will Uganda’s teams be in action?
On Day One (Saturday), both men’s and women’s matches will kick off at the same time in Munich and Krakow respectively.
The table below shows the opponents in each of the rounds and the kickoff times in EAT.

Fans at home in Uganda can also catch the matches at the usual clubhouses. Kyadondo, Legends, and Kings Park, where the Nile Special Rugby Championship will be played on Saturday afternoon, will provide screens for those in attendance to watch.

Where is Uganda in the overall standings?
The men are currently ranked eighth with fourteen points. They finished ninth in Dubai and sixth in Montevideo.
The women are ranked fourth with twenty-eight points. They lost the bronze medal match in both Dubai and Montevideo rounds.
Only the women have a realistic chance of progressing to the Final Qualification Tournament in Madrid later this month.
After the 7s Challenger, Uganda will quickly shift focus to the Olympic Games Repechage and the Rugby Africa calendar events.
