
BUL FC marked their return to FUFA Technical Centre, Njeru with a convincing victory over bottom-placed Mbale Heroes FC on Sunday.
The Eastern Giants played their home games in the first round at Lugazi Stadium but have since opted to go back to their fortress.
Hillary Onek, Nicholas Mwere and Karim Ndugwa scored a goal each for BUL FC enroute to victory.
Onek opened the scores in the 24th minute and the hosts went into the halftime break leading.
There were two quick goals in the second half with Mwere scoring a beauty at the hour mark before Ndugwa put the game beyond reach four minutes later.
The result takes BUL FC up to fourth place on 26 points while Mbale Heroes FC remain bottom of the table on 9 points.
