Hussein Mbalangu is aware of the threat Wakiso Giants poses to his NEC side ahead of the two sides’ Premier League meeting under lights at Lugogo.
The Purple Sharks are unbeaten against the Bugolobi based side after a win and draw in the last season’s two meetings and Mbalangu hasn’t forgotten that.
“They are a good team with good players and coaches so we must be at our best to beat them,” said Mbalangu. “Remember, we didn’t beat them last season but we have corrected the mistakes from last season,” he added.
Wakiso Giants come into the game on the back of defeats to UPDF and Vipers and will be desperate to avoid another defeat in succession.
NEC, second on the table with 12 points will return to the top with maximum points while Wakiso Giants will move within two points of them with a win.
