With no premier league point in two matches, Lugazi host Vipers aiming to pick their first point of the season.
The two teams face off at the Lugazi stadium, Najjembe with the Venoms seeking to build on the win over Express after faltering in the league opener versus NEC.
“We are really focused on tomorrow’s game,” said Vipers attacker Allan Okello. “We are ready to give our very best having lost our last outing. It’s a massive opportunity for us to keep our momentum after the Express win.”
Sadiq Ssempigi, the Lugazi coach admits a tough challenge awaits his lads but such a game is enough self-motivating to his players.
“We are playing one of the strongest teams in the league and we want to start picking points,” he said. “But we have prepared well and hopefully, we shall do well,” he added.
Elsewhere on the afternoon on Thursday, SC Villa host BUL at Mutesa II stadium, Wankulukuku with either targeting redemption after dropping points in the latest outings.
